The Empire Baptist Congress of Christian Education celebrates the legacy of Mrs.
Ruth V. Banks by awarding a monetary scholarship to outstanding college students
within the membership Associations of the Congress. Mrs. Banks was an outstanding
Christian Educator and had a passion for education. We would like to keep her legacy
alive by awarding a scholarship to a student in each of our represented Associations in
honor of her contributions to Christian Education.
